Since updating to 10 there is a few issues.

Hi all my friend updated to windows 10 a few months ago. There are a couple of issue. She has a Toshiba Satellite C55D-A5120 original operating system 8.1 64bit

Okay here is the issue. One streaming is lagging. Two browser freezes on both IE and Firefox..

Here is what I have done so far. I have did malware scans and nothing came up. I did a cleaning and did some make windows 10 faster tricks. Then I went to the Toshiba website and had it scan my computer for any updates it has some but the weird thing is when I downloaded it, it said it was not for my computer which I thought was weird because I had it scan my computer. I went to the graphic's card AMD E2-3800apu and had it scan my computer it did the same thing, when I went to download it, it said was not for my computer. ARGH!! I am frustrated can someone please help me on this?

    Thanks

I would try upgrading her networking drivers to the latest versions available for Windows 10. You'll get them from Toshiba's site, or from the manufacturer's site (such as Intel). Don't bother with an app that scans for updates. Get them yourself.

If that doesn't work, and this was a system that was upgraded to 10, the likely best step is a clean install of Windows 10.

On one of my old laptops I had the issue: I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and the laptop right after the upgrade process when I booted to WIN10 for the very first time I noticed that my trusty laptop began working so slowly and freezed from time to time. What I did is:
    1. Ensured that my Windows 10 copy has been successfully activated
    2. Performed the reset. In other words it was a clean install now - it cleared all my software, it activated automatically and all glitches were gone! Now it works like a dream.
I dont know how many important programs you have. I didnt have such that it was difficult to reinstall... The thing is Windows 10 is often works unstable after the update. If I can say so it migrates all glitches from the previous OS.

I had to finally do a factory reset. Well the problem still exsists with either windows 8.1 or windows 10. I am so frustrated.

If your system is still lagging even after the clean reinstallation... maybe the problem is in the hardware. First, try to clean system from dust to exclude overheating.
