Ph3xIB64.sys Windows.old

    Ph3xIB64.sys Windows.old


    Hello,

    I have a little problem. In C:\Windows.old\WINDOWS\System32 found two folders containing Ph3xIB64.sys file. Try to remove using command prompt and system clean up but no succes. I want remove it.

    Thanks for help.

    you can boot from my Rescue disk, link in sig below, and gain access to those drivers and delete them from the folders..

    Hi and welcome to the forums.
    From my understanding that's a file that was from Win7 and was left in the Windows.old folder when you upgraded. The best way to get rid of it is to delete the Windows.old folder and here's a tutorial on how to get this done.

    Since it's in the Windows.old and if there are no issues with the upgrade the best way is to delete the entire Windows.old folder.

    Files are gone, thanks for help special to Kyhi for rescue CD wich ones works :)

    Keep in mind.. if you want or have to roll back to 7 you may have issues since the file is gone.

    i realy like windows 10 and soon i have plan to upgrade my computer so a new license will be needed :)
