    What is this icon...


    Not sure what this icon is, it shows at startup and disappears when hovered over with no label.

    Have a look in Settings > System > Notifications & actions then click "Select which icons appear on the taskbar". Then see if you can find it in the list, and what it is for.

    It wasn't one I recognized so I pointed you to where it lives, so to speak. You can turn it off in there too so it won't display. Then if you do actually need to access it, press the up arrow in the notifications area and it should be in that hidden group.

Solved This PC icon in General Support
