Comp freezing and glitching while downloading

Hi, so my computer out of nowhere just started freezing and glitching when i download files. IF i download large files and multiple ones while using an internet downloadmanger it gets all laggy. IVe been downloading files the exact same way for years. Nothign had changed so that is why im confused. MY system is 6600k, 16gbram, 850 Evo 500gb, Asus z170-a. Chkdsk and memtest show nothing is wrong. IVE ran LatencyMon and it says this

    "___________________________________________________________________________________________________ ______
    CONCLUSION
    ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ _____
Your system appears to be having trouble handling real-time audio and other tasks. You are likely to experience buffer underruns appearing as drop outs, clicks or pops. One or more DPC routines that belong to a driver running in your system appear to be executing for too long. At least one detected problem appears to be network related. In case you are using a WLAN adapter, try disabling it to get better results. One problem may be related to power management, disable CPU throttling settings in Control Panel and BIOS setup. Check for BIOS updates.
LatencyMon has been analyzing your system for 0:12:36 (h:mm:ss) on all processors.

Im not sure whats going on and its really annoying. Its tried everyhting i know. Ive reintalled windows numerous times. Ive updated all drivers.

Hi gardenhose! Welcome to W10F. I'd say WTF but you may get the wrong idea Are you using a download accelerator and if so what? Is there an update for it? I sometimes have a slowdown when downloading or uploading and for me it's my ISP sending updates to my router and sometimes packets are or get corrupted. For me resetting my router to factory defaults works and I'm up and going again.

Hiya, Yes im using InternetDownloadManager and i have been for many years. Its the latest version thats been out for a little while and wasnt giving me problems before. I have never had slowdowns. I have fiber connection at 1 gigabit cvonnection. And when i download its constantly and conssitently 950Mbit/s ish or 124MB/s ish>

IVe reset my router numerous times. Teh connection going into my house from the outside line is perfect its the mdoem to the computer that is the issue its saying. The freezing and lagging is the biggest issue. The moment the downloads start the system freezes up and lags.

Hi Gardenhose If the service provider supplied the modem, I would request a new one. They do go bad. And ask them for an upgrade on the modem. They usually have different quality of modems. With those numbers, they should be giving you the best they have.
