Windows 10: cortana/search not working?!?!

    cortana/search not working?!?!


    just done a fresh install with the latest iso available. here it is the problem using search/cortana... (honestly i didn't care in the past, so i don't it's a normal beahaviour)
    -loggin in as administrator i can use the search and find settings like "system restore" or "personalize"
    -loggin in as limited user, no matter if local account or microsoft account, i can't search for settings and i get the message "incomplete" on top of the window... but all documents, images, start menu entries, etc. are showed perfectly.
    i googled around, but i couldn't find what happens to me. solutions are for completely broken search service. even create a new account or recreate the index didn't work....
    is it normal for limited users?!? bug?!? i don't want reinstall again

    Hi, I have a limited user, local account, set up after my admin user. Search in settings works for both. Search is set up the same for both, the same number of items indexed.

    Try going to Control Panel, Indexing Options in your limited account and see if the number of items indexed increases.

    Are the search settings the same in both accounts?

    This may be of interest, and appears still relevant.

    I use English UK, and the search works.. it's a trial to change the language with several settings and downloads.

    You haven't said what language you have selected, or responded specifically to my suggestion, so I'll leave it with you. Good luck.

    now working... so it took around four days to complete the indexing, wasn't enough leaving the pc in idle for a couple of hours after the installations... really strange, but luckily i didn't reinstall
