Click on the Window (Start) and you'll see Settings. You can also click on the little text box at the bottom right of your screen and you'll see another way to get to Settings.

When you get into Settings, if you don't see what you need, try typing it in the search box within Settings.
Thank you. I'd found the Start route; is the text box you mention the notifications thing (that people are complaining about almost as much as the charms bar? ).

At present I feel like I'm wandering round in the dark, stumbling over things. But I'm enjoying trying to find out where things are (and this at 10.56pm on a Friday night; is that sad or what? ).

I was given (I think) a perpetual license to SnagIt back when I was an MVP.

Yep, that be it. It also tells you there's new email although your email client isn't even open!

Oh, my! You're way, way ahead of me! It's only 3:04 PM here in Texas! But I've been known to stay up that late and later when my haid's inside these computers.

Wow! I haven't used SnagIt in a few years, so my license may have expired. Guess I should check it out.

Screenpresso is what we use these days for all the screenshots and videos for all our tutorials etc.

    Definitely nice!

I like to keep it complicated,
    'Greenshot' for captures,
    'SnagIt' for the editor,
    'Camtasia Studio' for videos!

It ain't. I didn't figure it would be, but it was worth a try. I was offered an upgrade, but I don't really need it.
