I think it's more like a mini Modern (Metro) Start screen has now been included in the new Modern Start menu. It somewhat resembles the old Win32 UI Start menu is about it. It's the Modern UI all the way.

What do you think of this new Start Menu/Start Screen combo HG? I suppose I could get use to it, but I'm not sure I prefer it over the All Apps screen.
Using Brink's Desktop Context Menu switcher to use all three. https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2...text-menu.html
I continue to prefer the Start screen, but the new Modern Start menu is a step in the right direction. I switch to learn all 3.
It's like Mystere puts it > Windows will eventually be Modern. There's no bout a doubt it.
Yup. I have added Brink's context menu switcher myself. It does simplify things. Will be interesting to see what options are available in the final version of W10. Hopefully it will allow us to easily configure things to the way we like them. At least the price (free for the first year) is right!
Charms gone, soon Metro gone, one might as well go back to Windows 7.....
