    Missing control panel

I am unable to find my Control Panel today. I see the words control panel when I right click on the menu after clicking on the start button. But nothing happens. It does not open. I have been researching it all day but to no avail. I am using an Acer laptop and I updated to Windows 10 last July. I have had this control panel until today. Can someone help me to restore it? Thanks so much.

    Have you tried Start
    Left Click
    Click All Apps
    Scroll down to
    Windows System
    Clink to Open it
Click Control Panel and it will open
    Also Right Clink
This you can then Pin To Start
Then you can open it that way
Also you can pin it to Task Bar as well
That way you can probably get your Control Panel working again

Also have you tried System Restore and find a date when it was working ok
If none of this works then follow this link

Will it open if you type control panel in the search bar > then press Enter ?

If that does not help, please find out what else do not open on the list after you've right clicked at Start button.

Thank you very much. I actually right clicked on the unusable control panel shortcut icon and actually got my cp back on my computer. I then pinned it to my task bar and it is okay. But I do see what you are talking about and I really appreciate you helping me. I am happy there is this forum to help me in the future.
