Weird isn't it,i always use mine on the bottom, never auto hide,,, when I use my raspberry Pi I like it on the top,,weird
You know this is really ticking me off....this taskbar problem I have...
Here it is again:
This is Win 10 on a Zotac Zbox BI320. I have two of them both acting as HTPCs and running Kodi V15.2
They run 24/7 with Kodi in full screen mode. One of them keeps hiding the taskbar and I can't get access to it unless I restart explorer or or restart the box. I've tried leaving Kodi in a window on the desktop but within 24 hrs it will minimize to the taskbar. If I leave it full screen within 24 hours the taskbar is gone. I've tried moving the taskbar to left, right, top and bottom and resetting the screen resolution and no joy. Next on the list is Intel video drivers and if no joy there a fresh install of Win 10. The other BI320, has NO issues and both were upgrades from Win 8.1 to Win 10. All the same drivers were installed as well. Could it be something to do with the TV and HDMI??
Here's hoping a fresh, clean install of Win 10 solves the issue as that's what I'm doing now.....time will tell.
EDIT:
Custom install took care of the issue. Wiped the partition and installed Win 10 and it's been fine 3 days so far....

Well it didn't take long and things were back to abnormal... Reboot or sign out and sign in = working task bar for a few hours.
BUT I discovered that running the PC in 1920x1080 (recommended mode) seems to be the issue. Backed off the resolution to 1280x720, or anything less than 1920x1080, will keep the task bar active. So now I wonder who's bug is it?
Zotac Zbox BI320 8gb RAM 64GB mSATA SSD
Monitor - LG 55LM7600 Television
HDMI for video
SPDIF for the audio
Is it Windows 10?
Is it the TV? - Might be as this same box works fine on my 37" Hitachi TV in 1920x1080....
Is it the Intel drivers?
At any rate, I've got it working and I'm fine with it as I would probably run it at this resolution (1280x720) anyway. It's much easier to see from across the room on a 55" TV and some 65 year old eyes. :)
