I know a lot of others are plagued by the Start button issue. I am as well. But, also my Calendar and Calculator stopped working as well.

I have tried SEVERAL solutions. Re-installing all apps via Powershell, re-installing Windows 10 and creating new accounts. Nothing I do seems to help.

Getting tired of this, especially the Start button failing. thanks.
The following will give you a clean install...but with certain advantages.
If you have an M$ account and are synchronised to the cloud.

If you are prepared to REINSTALL all your Apps....open Settings....Update and Security....Recovery.....Reset this pc.....Choose an Option.

    Choose Keep my Files.

When you next sign into your account all files and SETTINGS are restored.

All Apps are uninstalled but a list of them is left on the desktop.

I used Tweaking.com's utility to try to fix this. Once again it works for about 30 minutes, then the Start button quits working as well as the Calendar and Calculator. I am starting to feel this is not my issue and it's Microsofts...

This is exactly the same here. After reinstall the OS ( keeping the apps. ) I managed to install 1511 updates, but the problem with Start Menu, Calculator, Edge and Calendar stays..... All of this started after the updates prior to 1511 ones.

Just thinking- which AV are you using? There must be sthg on your PC which is having this effect. If there's sthg common to both of you, that may help.

Also, from a working state, do a clean boot and see if things stay working- if so, that would demonstrate sthg installed is doing this. Or failing that, at least try in Safe Mode to see if they remain working. If so, it's a question of what else is running in normal mode that is killing them.
