Annoying cmd.exe popup “FINDSTR cannot find the path specified”

Not really sure where to post this so I'll just post it here!

Hey people! For the past few days I've been getting a cmd.exe popup at random times in the day and it goes away so fast.

I have an MSi GE72 2QD Apache Pro gaming laptop.

    FINDSTR: Cannot open C:\ProgramData\acer\updater2\updater2.xml
The system cannot find the path specified.
    Cannot access file C:\Program Files\DriverSetupUtility\FUB\+
    FINDSTR: Cannot open C:\ProgramData\packard bell\updater2\updater2.xml
The system cannot find the path specified.

    Cannot access file C:\Program Files\DriverSetupUtility\FUB\+
    FINDSTR: Cannot open C:\ProgramData\gateway\updater2\updater2.xml
The system cannot find the path specified.
    Cannot access file C:\Program Files\DriverSetupUtility\FUB\+
    FINDSTR: Cannot open C:\ProgramData\founder\updater2\updater2.xml
The system cannot find the path specified.
    Cannot access file C:\Program Files\DriverSetupUtility\FUB\+
The system cannot find the path specified.

Has anyone else had this problem? Is there anyway of fixing it except for having to do a reset/factory reset?

    Thanks

Not likely to be a oath length problem with paths this short.

Do the mentioned files actually exist?

I would say you have one or more programs running in the background that are causing the problem.
You could use Clean Boot to determine which ones are causing the problem though you will have to be patient while testing.

    Perform Clean Boot in Windows 10 / 8 / 7
