I've already posted on #18, Use OPTION 2 and download the template for the deleted partitions, unzip and save it to the same external drive as before:
Old Recovery partition
Before proceeding, is it normal for the reflect image to be like 20 files? Thats what it gave me, like 20 different files of about 4GB each...
The problem is your external HD was formatted as FAT32. FAT32 can only store 4GB max for a file so it creates multiple files. You need to format the external drive as NTFS then it will create one single file. You will need to re-create the image again.
BTW, did you set the ID for the partition to be Basic Data disk before makin the backup ?
WARNING: Don't format if you have other files stored in the HD. Format will wipe out the whole disk.
There is nothing wrong with Fat32 and the 20 files. Just leave it for the time being. It will work.
Understand. But even drag and drop should work if you chain them together. Nevertheless, your point is valid.
Topgundcp, I have recreated the image so that's done. I also restored with that template onto my SSD. Now I have those partitions from the template on the SSD, and the image on my external. Can you explain exactly how to proceed, because I'm having trouble understanding this copy/drag with an image file talk.
