Not sure how to do that, I clicked on icon down in lower left corner of taskbar didn't see this pc anywhere. Please explain
I have This PC icon on the Desktop.
Right click on the desktop and select Personalize.
Click on Themes then Desktop icon settings.
Check Computer (and any others you want) then click OK.

    Now you can
    Open This PC.
Right click on the File Explorer icon in the Taskbar.
    Select Pin to Taskbar.
Or do the first few steps hTconeM9user listedL:

    Go to start icon
    Left click
    File Explorer
    Left click

    Now you can
Right click on the File Explorer icon in the Taskbar.
    Select Pin to Taskbar.
Either shou8ld work, does for me.

Don't forget that you can also type This PC in the search box to find and open the app. I use this approach a lot now as it is very quick and convenient.

I think I Found The Solution

This is the second time I have posted about the same problem. I can't move file explorer to the task bar. I tried to move it by right clicking on start, then left click on file explorer the menu I get that way just says "pin to start" and more, when I click on more all that is there is don't show with this list, if I left click the start button and then left click file explorer the menu only says "pin to start". I am at a loss, I have had one problem after another with Windows 10 and considering going back to Windows 7. I have tried to revert back to windows 7 from windows 10 but that failed, the only other option I have is to format the hard drive and reload Windows 7. I understand by doing that I will get the Windows 10 10 upgrade icon in the right hand corner of the task bar. How do I get rid of that?
I think I found the solution to your problem. Here is issue/problem -- you cannot pin the original system File Explorer icon to the taskbar. The latest version of Windows 10 will not allow it. Why? I do not know... But there is an easy trick that you can use. You simply need to first create a shortcut icon for File Explorer on your Desktop, and then you can just drag and drop the shortcut icon onto the Taskbar. Here are the steps...

    1. Start File Explorer by hitting the Windows key on your keyboard plus the E key.
    2. Navigate to the WIndows folder. It is located under: This PC > Windows (C : ) > Windows.
    3. Double click on the Windows folder to open it up, and in the panel on the right hand side, scroll down to explorer.exe 4. Explorer.exe is the File Explorer program. You now need to right click on explorer.exe and click on SEND TO - Desktop
This will create a shortcut of the File Explorer program onto your Desktop.
    5. Now, close the File Explorer program and go to your Desktop. Right Click on the new File Explorer shortcut icon that you created in Step 4 and drag/drop it into your Taskbar. That is it. You are now done.

If you mean you are clicking the Yellow folder icon in the Taskbar, you already have the Windows File Explorer shortcut on the Taskbar.
