    Kind of funny,
I also had a Nvidia driver update and thought at first it messed up the other update
Little Onedrive error too but since it was turned off for the most part I discounted that one it's happened a few times before.
I've just survived a horrible OneDrive/Upload Center problem.

The only way it got resolved was for me to turn off syncing, delete all the cached files and then turn back on syncing.

Did anyone not read the article I posted, reply #9 , this is not an update for the public.

Why are you even trying to download it, you`ll just get an error message, there is no new build for us yet.

When one comes out, we`ll all know about it :)
Yeppers, we did! Because it was offered to some who tried to get it!

Maybe it's because most of us hadn't seen this thread before . . . I haven't been on my Windows 10 Build 9926 laptop in several days because of other things on the agenda, so I had no idea of what was going on.

You don't just go out there and order Build 9933 or Build 9935; you gotta wait until it's offered. I can guarantee that if it had been offered to me in the past several days I would have bitten! Fact is that when I read the first two or three posts in this thread awhile ago, I ran into the other room and fired up Lappy 10 to see if I could get it too. Who wouldn't?

But something happened and I guess when Build 9926 came through it changed me from Fast to Slow. Dirty jokesters, but I guess maybe at least I missed getting caught like the rest of those who bit, that is if I'd had my lappy on.

I didn't choose to download the update. MSU did it automatically. MSU doesn't give you a choice of what you want and don't want to download. Why some got the update and some didn't I don't have a clue.

Yes it did - change from fast to slow. My take on it is that too many people were on the fast track - many who shouldn't be. Fast vs. slow isn't about when you get the release, it's about how much testing has been done.

The three rings (4 if you count development testing) are
internal: very buggy, developer think, everyone knows how to do this
fast ring: some quick QA ... notes in a reply to a post on a insider thread
slow: acceptable for release to more technical users willing to chew on some splinters ... a blog might be being written and an eMail will be sent in a few days.

MS servers must have been getting crushed by the rush to get the next build first ... not because of any technical prowess, but just to be first on your block with a magic decoder ring.

So, they snuck in a throttle and some techies noticed - that's who MS wanted to notice.

This post is just my take on what's going on with the builds.

I'm running TP 9949 right now and it's great

    ...... no I'm not running 9949

I picked your post to reply Wynona, because you made a salient point - MS changed the ring. That and we worked on your laptop for a while, until it was beyond revival

Two notes: - I used your laptop as an example to help another member install a 2nd drive in their laptop ... they couldn't believe a laptop could hold two drives (I told them about your machine and how I learned that some HPs do in fact support 2 HDDs.) and
... a different member actually had to replace the CMOS battery and it WORKED! I enjoyed working with you on the laptop - wish the outcome had been better. Glad to see you on the threads.

You rat! I was almost ready to ask how you got the build!

At least she did some good! I'm still surprised she would take two hard drives. This one also has space for a second, but I'm getting a new lappy in mid February, so I'm not going there. I think maybe it's because it's a 17" display so there's room.

This lappy, which belongs to my son-in-law is a bit long in the tooth, but she's working OK enough to install Windows 10 on.

The old gal that croaked on us at least gave me her RAM; this one only had 2 GB and now has 4. Got some extra sticks (1 2GB and 3 1GB) I don't know what to do with, but I'll find someone who needs it.

Yeah, I had to make sure folks knew I was playing around before I had too many PMs :)

I knew some mfrs made laptops that held two drives - it surprised me that HP had models.

And so, 'til we meet again, my friend. g'nite

Is this supposed to be another build ?

I always wondered what this meant.
I got that already, tried to install but it failed and suddenly it was not available anymore.
Now I know that that was a bug in KB3035129.
