Did anyone not read the article I posted, reply #9 , this is not an update for the public.

Why are you even trying to download it, you`ll just get an error message, there is no new build for us yet.

When one comes out, we`ll all know about it :)

Because we can't deselect what updates get downloaded.

In addition, the new build update shows up for some, me included, when we/I look for regular updates. The update for the new build stopped but it still happens without someone looking for it.

That`s strange, you`re in Jersey too, I never got the update that messes up how you seet build #s , as per the article.

There is another update that fixes this, wonder why it`s not correcting it for you.

Are you on the MS account ? Although I don`t see how that would affect it.

I think he was talking to me. I'm on a MSA and set for Fast Builds. When I check for updates I have been getting updates for Defender and the update for build 9935. Luckily it try's to download the build 9935 update last.

Set your builds option to slow.

And I`ve created a disk image in case this update screws anything up, I suggest you do the same.

I just ran update and all it pulled down was a defender update. :)

And maybe you should get off the MSA, just a suggestion. Unless of course you`re using it for a reason.

I just switched to the slow track and it tries to download build 9933.

(edit)... I did a complete backup before updating to build 9926. I even backed up my 8.1 install.Better safe than sorry. :)

Don't know what to tell you AddRAM. I haven't done anything to my system except the updates I get from the the MS updates. I guess some of us get it and some of us don't
