Windows 10 Sign in with Pin + Microsoft Account

To me, it defeats the purpose of using a pin, if signing with a MSA disables the PIN. I don't like having to sign in with my long MS password. Strange, that MS is not more flexible. Guess I'll switch to a local account.

It's *supposed* to work, it's a bug.

Thanks, Mystere. I'll see how things work out and I'll keep working with Windows 10.

Hi

I found that I could no longer log in with a pin as well, so I just told it to skip the login screen altogether.

Open the Run Window, type netplwiz and it will open a popup window.
Uncheck the box that says the the user must use a user name and password to log in.

Type your password in twice and click Apply and your computer will just long in when you boot it up.

This works with my User or my Microsoft account.
