Shortcut to "select which icons appear on the taskbar"

My challenge is that I'm running a program that refuses to retain it's taskbar setting to always show. So, everytime I reboot, I have to go to "System\Notifications & actions\Select which icons appear on the taskbar" and find the program (it's Choicemail) and toggle on the notification.

I have a shortcut to get me to the "System\Notifications & actions dialog", but I'd really like to go direct to the "Select which icons appear on the taskbar" dialog.

Of course, the ideal solution would be for Choicemail to resolve this problem, but they haven't since Windows XP and their tech support blames Microsoft.

I'd use a macro to execute, but with Windows 10 walking away from shortcut keys on most system settings, I haven't figured that out. I also don't know what CMD to use from an admin run instance to get there.

    Any suggestions will be appreciated.

    TIA!

Hello Luff, and welcome to Ten Forums. :)

Since this involves the notification area icons, you might se if resetting them may help.

For now, you could use the same shortcut in the tutorial below to open Notification settings.

Thanks for the welcome! I'm using that exact shortcut and it's a time-saver. Just wish I could go the next step. Had done the reset and it didn't resolve the problem. Getting to the 'select which icons appear...' dialog box likely only needs an argument added to the shortcut command, but it's beyond me.
