I for one think that the new start menu is very good to start with. That for me has sold me on the new OS.
Hmm, see how opinions can be different. The start screen is on my con-list. I toggle the 8.1 start page which I like better. Not so much for the start page itself bit because of the apps page where I can orient myself easier than in the left pane of the start menu.

I have one showstopper right now - they did not integrate the modern UI with the high definition themes. I need high def so that I can read what's on the screen and all modern UI pages are unreadable in high def. I hope they fix that by RTM.

    Because Microsoft said so. :)

I would like to see as many features added before the RTM as well.

High def is not a new feature. It has been there all the time. But now they ruined it.

Unfortunately, When I was testing windows 10 preview, I couldn't judge the start screen because my all-in-one computer is not a touch screen.

It's really not my fault. I got hooked watching all those Ron Popeil and Billy Mays commercials. :)

I guess when I was testing windows 10, I should of asked "How to switch to the start screen mode". I never knew you could till later. I would of really liked to have tried the start screen on my desktop computer. I never said I didn't like the start screen.
