    Windows File Explorer

Recently I posted a thread about control panel not working. Finally got it started by opening in file explorer. Once it started there it would open from any of the usual places. My problem now is that File Explorer is doing the same thing control panel was doing. Can't seem to start it from anywhere. I just get the "wait" circle for a second and then nothing. Any ideas?

    Hi, does it open normally
    a. in Safe Mode
    b. after a clean boot
    c. if you disable all shell extensions (be sure to hide MS ones) using Nirsoft's shellexview (freeware)?

It probably had to do with an uninstall yesterday. Did system restore to yesterday before install and all is ok. Should have checked that first but with all the problems I had with control panel, I made too big a problem out of this and didn't start with easiest fix. Thanks for help.

Good- sometimes the simple option is best.
