good morning, so far I have been using windows 10 pro without any issues for a month now... just looked at the recovery options and noticed the option to go back to windows 7 is gone.... which was expected. now hopefully this laptop will continue to behave properly with windows 10 pro otherwise I will have to locate a windows 7 disk... hoping that will not need to happen because so far windows 10 is the best version of windows I have ever used.
    Just a question :
Is the windows.old gone after a month or did you delete it yourself ?

I leave mine on my C drive and I am waiting to see if it actually disappear automatically after 30 days. I have about 5 more days to go.
    That's why I ask you.

Nice to hear that more people are liking the new Windows!
I've been using it for more than an year since the first previews.

    :)
I think its great peeps are liking Windows 10, its a great OS, Windows 7 was good but it will go the same as XP, I don't want to hang on to old tech so Windows 10 is the way forward :)

    Yes. You said that already.
MY query is about the windows.old within C drive.
Would you please open C drive and have a look ?

Personally loving Windows 10, the interface is great. No idea how it runs on a low spec machine, but on a mid-spec laptop (basic i5 with 6GB RAM, SSD) it runs fantastically!

    OK. That's alright.
I'll just wait for mine in a few more days to know for certain.

I'm kinda thinking it went away by its self since I think I saw more disk space before I ran disk clean up

Depending on how you use the Disk Cleanup. It has actually 2 parts. 1st part is just for temp files etc, 2nd part is for system files cleanup where one can delete the Windows Update Cleanup which will have windows.old removed.

    Thank you anyway.
