    Win 10 update

I posted a week or so ago regarding problems with the latest major update. I solved the problem by rolling back to previous version. Now it has happened again. E-mail gone, AVG will not start, system restore disabled and all restore points deleted.
Is it possible to stop auto download of updates? It used to be with previous versions that you could be notified of available updates but choose not to download.
