    Windows 10, all the way!
Roger that! It IS the whole reason we're here!
Win10 is really worth getting, IMO. First off you can't beet the price(FREE). Second, for me at least it just does what I want it to and the way I like. With the registry hack from Shawn I can switch between the Start Menu and Screen easily so I'm totally happy.

As long as a persons computer supports Win10 I don't see the logic in not upgrading. But, YMMV as usual.

So..., is that choice going to remain?
I got the impression with expanding and shrinking the 'Continuum' Menu, that was going to be it!?

Time will tell but I suspect that we can apply that change to the final version of Win10. I'll keep trying it on every version until the final and see what happens.

Here is the hack I was referring to: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2...text-menu.html

WHS, mine is Power To Go. I would not have thought you could put an OS on a CD.

Will there be an issue if I clone my Win 7 and upgrade a copy to Win 10 and keep the other Win 7 copy? Of course I will be using them on the SAME machine. I will just select a a drive to boot up to from time to time. Is it legal to do it that way? Sorry if my question sounds nooby. :)

I'd just be guessing answering that at this time. It all depends on how Microsoft does these free upgrades. It sounds doable.

I know I will use 10 on one computer.

The other three, I'm not sure.

I was undecided until yesterday. After hearing the upgrades are going to free I definitely will be upgrading to Win 10. The bugs I have in Win 10 are minor and I'm sure they will be fixed by the time 10 is released. At that price I may upgrade all my computers, even the wife's.

What about upgrading the software? The software covered by this agreement is an upgrade to your existing operating system software, so the upgrade replaces the original software that you are upgrading. You do not retain any rights to the original software after you have upgraded and you may not continue to use it or transfer it in any way. This agreement governs your rights to use the upgrade software and replaces the agreement for the software from which you upgraded.
