Are you going to get windows 10 or keep your current os or

I didn't bother with the VM for this OS I just performed a dual boot from the begging. So far this build is better than the previous for me at lest.

He's absolutely right. And just like what @Lady Fitzgerald said, Win 7 is not broken. In fact, it is still more stable than 10 now.

It's not about metro-phobia or anything. A lot of people invested on hardware and software that works smoothly with 7. Win 10 is a game changer. For one, AMD drivers don't work with it. I have 4 monitors and I have to rely on MS generic graphics driver just to run my 4 monitors. And that dragged down my graphics WEI to 3.9.

I am not gonna talk about software that people use with Win 7. You guys know what is the deal with that.

I will hold on to my 7 as long as I can. I have 2 other Win 8 machines to mess up with anyway.

This laptop I am using now has switchable graphics, AMD Radeon HD 7400M or Intel HD Graphics 3000. I have no issues using AMD drivers which were automatically installed by Windows.

Mine is on desktop PC. It's an add-on graphics card for multi-monitor setup. Win 10 always pop-up a message about AMD control center needing an attention but it doesn't do anything.

So, if we have AMD stuff on our computers, then Windows 10 is not compatible? Does this mean we can't upgrade?

I would make sure I have the drivers from AMD first and go from there. The worst I think is when you upgrade the instillation will use the default drivers.

Sigh,, download the AMD drivers.
If you get the default drivers from MS then install the AMD drivers.

That should fix the problem,
