Free for the first year. Still didn't hear anything about after that.

The way I read that is, you have a one year time frame to take them up on the free upgrade offer. After that you'll have to pay to upgrade. It's a limited time offer. Once you upgrade for free your still good after the one year expires.

EDIT: lol, it looks like I should have read all the posts as this seems to have been already answered.

All the freezes "buffering" stutters, and jitters really spoiled it for me. I had to back out and open it again to get a live feed, repeatedly. Clicking the Live feed button in the player did nothing. I missed a fair bit of it. The holographic part was cool. Gamming comes to mind playing Myst with that might be interesting.

I didn't dare leave the house wearing google glass so there is no way I'm going outside with that big thing on.

Just draw up a hologram for a Halo helmet that will hold the visor in side it. Then 3D print it and wear it. Nobody will know it's you. lol.
