He did say they were still supporting the desktop version for PC, those are the new apps

Cortana is included in Windows 10. Windows 10 goes on-line August 4th, 2015. Human decisions are removed from strategic defense. Cortana begins to learn at a geometric rate. It becomes self-aware at 2:14 a.m.
