    Windows tablet

I am looking to purchase a windows 8 tablet that is capable of running the latest games and also be upgraded to windows 10 later on this year... Is this possible?
I have read a couple of articles saying that running 3D games on tablets cannot be done but some say that it is possible with the latest nvidia tegra GPU.

    Hi there.

Expensive but is a winner in my book -- Surface Pro 3. You'll need at least the i5 version though. With the surface pro 3 you won't need a laptop either. BTW the graphics in the surface pro 3 is superb - blows any laptop with the measly 768 X 1366 display away utterly and looks brilliant on a large 50 inch monitor too.

A bit "Wallet busting" but IMO worth it.

I'm actually posting this on a surface pro 3 running W7/W8.1 and W10 as VM's CONCURRENTLY using CENTOS 7 as a HOST. Much better performance than my laptop - even with a SAP test IDES system running on the W7 VM !!!!. So running 3 VM's isn't a problem - on my 16GB RAM desktop with HDD's the system just DIES running these VM's on it (although the desktop has an older AMD processor).

Get the LARGEST SSD because unlike a computer it's almost impossible to swap out any components later and ensure you have the full 8GB RAM.

I've got the top i7 model though -- never regretted the purchase. I know I could have got cheaper but I had the money and its a beautiful piece of kit - even my colleagues using APPLE gear are fazed by it.

    Cheers

So are you saying the pro 3 can play latest 3d games?
As you said that this tablet is very pricey! Are there cheaper tablets that can do what I want?
