File Explorer opens at Windows 10 startup

I recently installed the November update on my computer and now the File Explorer runs at every start up. How can I go disable this and go back to normal?

Hi, this reference, albeit older, gives a basic sequence of steps to help you analyse the problem - I've not yet seen reports of this generally.

Here's an updated version of how to do a clean boot (first step in the above)
How to Clean Boot Windows 10 and Windows 8

and here's an updated version of how to add, delete, enable startup items.
