Mysterious Command Prompt popups - please help

Since a couple of weeks now i have the command prompt popping up every hour or two. It's just a flicker, gone so fast that i cannot read what is causing the popup (the prompt seems empty btw).

I looked in Task Scheduler but there are no tasks shown that did run in the last 24h, albeit seeing the popup just 15 min ago.
SFC did not return any system errors.

I'm worried it could be malicious. Avira and Malwarebytes don't find anything. I have good internet security (noscript, adblock etc) so it's doubtful. But it's aggravating at the same time cause when i'm gaming it either switches focus away from the gaming window or completely interrupts the fullscreen mode.

Google search did not help. Maybe you guys can. At least with a suggestion how i can track/log such popups - that could be an efficient way to find the culprit. I don't have the free time to test variations of things for 2 days, especially since it does not occur regularly.

EDIT: It seemed unclear, but i have the newest version of Win10. The issue may have started a while after the big update in November.

CLARIFICATION UPDATE: It's this one -

That was an issue which happened before version 10586.
It has been rectified since the current version update.
Apparently, you have yet to install version 10586 ?

here is the link where it mentions what have been fixed, one of which is the mysterious command prompt.

    excerpt :
Here are some things we have fixed:

We fixed an issue reported by Windows Insiders where a disksnapshot.exe command prompt window would flash randomly.

See if event log shows anything

You might try looking at your event log. Do a search for "event log" and look under windows log. There will be a lot of events there so you will have to correlate to the time you received the popup.

    I'll try that, thanks.

UPDATE: No luck, there's nothing in the event log for the time when the popup occurred (18:00:1x). Damn.

I don't have much to offer.
Run a system file check to look for corrupt files. It will try to do repair if any found.
Right click at Start button > click Command Prompt (Admin) > at the flashing prompt, copy/paste this.......
    sfc /scannow

    > press Enter.
    It will take quite sometime.
When finished, it will give you one of the 3 reports...............(paraphrasing)
    1. No integrity violation.
    2. Found corrupt files and repair successful.
    3. Found corrupt files but unable to repair.

If the report is #1, your solution lies elsewhere.
If the report is #2, check if your problems have been resolved.
If the report is #3, use this method................
In the same Command Prompt (Admin) windows, copy and paste this command...........

    dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

    > press Enter.
Again it will take some time.
When finished, it will give you a report.

    Oh, yes. My sincere apology.
That's the problem trying to watch NFL games and Windows 10 Forum at the same time.

Download: Process Lasso Portable Edition and run.
When it happens, open Process Lasso and look in the Action Log to see what was running.
The log will tell you the time and date, the path of the program etc...
