Windows 10 Installation Media ISO

Got a new DELL that comes with windows 7 Pro. and I upgraded to windows 10 Pro with no issues. Later I found out that I "should " have Upgraded using the "Windows 10 Media Creation Tool" instead of "Get Upgrade"

How can I get the installation Media now with the Iso image, so that I can make a copy onto a DVD, so that I can do a clean installation in the future.?

Is it that the "product key" or digital entitlement ONLY works for this Dell machine alone and NOT transferable?

No. to be honest, I have not "explore" windows 10 that much,fearful of it's "privacy Issues" which I totally dislike,since I just bought a new comp,might as well take advantage of the Free upgrade-.

Furthermore, is an Upgrade to the Pro. version, - hey, that is 200 bucks on Retail...
Just that in the future, I need to change HD,and is always good to have a DVD copy.

I guess one can always use the Recovery option to wipe and reformat the HD and reinstall option provided by windows 10

I upgraded a Win7 Pro laptop to W10 Pro through windows update, no problems at all. There are those that swear by a "clean install" but I don't think it's needed in most cases. Unless you're really having issues I wouldn't do it.

I have no issues too,I made a disk Image of the OS with Windows 10 updated, just that MS is offering an iso , might as well take advantage of it

It came in handy last night for my desktop, booted from the USB iso, took about 30 mins and I was back in business. I have it set to automatically take a backup image every week, if the worst happens you can recover in a half hour or so.

The moral to the story is "Always have a backup/image available, the more recent, the better"

I have Acronis 19.0 2016 as a Backup Tool,i guess Windows is just as good, I think. Thanks for the share.
