    Wierd Pop Sound

I don't know which category to put this in, so I guess it will be here.

So, this is kind of a strange one:

I was playing on the computer with a few friends, and suddenly there was a loud pop from somewhere, it was like a speaker going pop when you plug it in, or a balloon bursting relatively quietly.

It gave me a bit of a shock and I have no idea what it was.

The computer, which I had built a couple of days ago, was fine from what I could see. It didn't go off, and there was no sign that anything was wrong, I turned it off and back on again and everything was fine.

My monitor was fine also, it is an old monitor, so...... maybe? Nothing seems wrong anyway.

My speakers were off, but plugged in, so I don't think it was them, even if it did sound like a noise a speaker would make. They were fine, also.

I don't know if I should be worried, or whether I can just forget about it, I've looked over the computer and everything seems in order, with nothing damaged from what I can see. When it happened I couldn't smell anything, either.

So, nothings broken, and there was a loud pop from somewhere, and I can't think where it could have come from. I hope someone can think of something!

    Any ideas?

Pretty much definitely not XD. My whole family heard it and came to see what had happened.

Could have just been a power spike that hopefully only ended up making your speakers pop.
