My taskbar will not slide away.

Recently my taskbar has decided it will not slide out of the way when I am using a program.
How can I make it do as it as told again, please?
This is not on my Pryon PC but on my HP Touchscreen PC.
In the setup screen the autohide button is ticked.

Try unticking the Autohide checkbox, restarting the PC and then reselecting autohide. If this does not work it does no harm to run the system file checker to see if a system file has got corrupted. Open an elevated command prompt and enter sfc /scannow

    Thank you very much.
It worked, my taskbar is now sliding out of sight when not needed :)
