I just want to know if my music on my media player and my photos are going to be erased when I upgrade to windows 10 from 7.

Always back up before upgrading. I use Clonezilla to back up on a NAS. You can also use it to backup to say a Toshiba Cavio Pocket drive.
The image is the same size as the partitions on the drive, so make sure you have enough storage.
You can of course do a trial of Amazon's Unlimited Cloud and store all of your files over there for the upgrade.

It's always a good idea to have backups of any files that are important and you don't want to lose.
and your music is not stored on the mediaplayer.[play list and such are all that's in the media player app, assuming you mean the player app] ,but in a folder ,and accessed with the media player ,at least mine isn't and never was in any version of windows ,same with pictures
Music should be stored in the music folder, unless a third party software has created a music folder in its directory in one of the Program's folder.
Your personal files will be preserved, but always remember to back up.
