Perhaps another way: Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade
i'll see what i can do... it looks like it requires things i dont have, but i'll check. thank you.
the problem is getting worse. It was fine last night but now today its even not responding at the login menu. im typed this from mobile, i managed to log into my computer but its struggling... keeps locking up when i try to type on skype (which was all i had open for a good while)
i cant really figure out how to do the two things i recommended to do. it references stuff i dont get and seems like i need things i dont have (and cant really get, i dont have spare money). ... and they kinda sound like nuking my pc like the reset thing, so im nervous about doing that.
is there anything else i can do? sorry if im being annoying...
I gave you 2 suggestions:
1. Run the Reset option.
2. Download the Media Creation Tool .
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/softw...load/windows10
After the download, run the Tool. You have 2 choices:
a) select Upgrade this PC now. That will start installing.
b) select Create installation media for another PC. That will begin downloading the ISO file to your computer.
After the iso file is downloaded, you can right click at the iso file > click Mount > click Setup.exe.
That will start installing. You can choose to keep your files, settings and apps, or keep nothing.
You will not be asked for product key. Activation will be automatic.
**** If you are unable to use your computer to do the above, use another computer and download the Media Creation Tool. Then burn the ISO file to a bootable media ( DVD or USB ) and use the media to do a Clean Install.
It's up to you to decide what you want to do.
There is no quick fix, I am afraid.
