Bingo.
Dear Gamer Friend,
Since you have 101 game shortcuts this could take a while, but it will be worth it: put all your games in your start menu. That way you won't be worrying about how the icons show and you'll have a much cleaner desktop.
I keep my always apps in my taskbar but my sometimes apps in the Start. Like so --
I have 29 items visible in the Start Menu. With some creativity you could fit your 51 gaming shortcuts. Maybe put some in folders that are similar.
Now if you say, but wait, that adds clicks to get to games -- your Taskbar has GOBS of room for your current favorites. You can even make more room by shrinking the Cortana search field as I do. (You do know that if you just hit Windows Key you can start typing, meaning you don't need that search field at all?)
Don't mind me, just some thoughts.
