Fast startup relies on hibernation, and hibernation writes data on your disk the amount of your RAM everytime you shut down your PC. (so 16GB in my case). Since SSD have limited data writes, I prefer not to "waste" 16gb everytime I shutdown.
I may be wrong & sorry for my english

Microsoft will not be making a fix for this in Windows 10 1511 10586. The fixes will be mainly seen in the Redstone update in July
That was more for the earlier SSDS, I think the better SSD technology is supposed to help with the longevity, such as the new SATA 3 SSDS and the M.2 SSDS.
After a clean reinstall of win10 everything was very fast now after 3-4 weeks the login was 10sec a few days ago and now 30sec.
My Taskbar is always visible so thats not the problem and the strange thing is the slow login is getting slower and slower over time.
So I guess my problem is a little different than others...
On the last insider build it's partially fixed, now I get a black screen instead of a second boot logo, but it's just a placeholder, not a real fix... I hope they really fix it instead of hiding it
We will see the fix on the Anniversary Update "Redstone"
Just installed insider preview 1511 14316 and the problem seems to be gone. Not at first when I did it through windows update. But I made an iso from install.esd. Then I reinstalled the image of the previous insider preview and started it. Next I mounted the iso and did the install from there and now the problem seems to be gone for now. I’ll have to wait until tomorrow to see whether it is still working.
