Win 10 Home 64 bit 10586 errors I could use help with.

Hi there, I have a few errors since I updated earlier, one is where anytime I say right click and try to go to personalize, it complains about how it can't be opened with the built in admin account and to login with a diff one, however, I disabled that account as far as I know so this shouldn't be poping up. also if I hit close on the error, the settings window I requested still pop's up. So this one is more of an annoyence issue.

Next issue is well my search just does not work period, even if I put in common things like regedit and cmd, nothing shows. I did use a program that stops all the tracking junk, but I had this same thing before 10586 and I never had any problems at all like this, other than stuff like weather QQing about uac being off.

Another issue I have is windows defender constantly complaining about my av and defender being off. I may try reverting what I did to see if it helps any. It didn't so these issues are all caused by the 11586 update.

About Defender/AV being off, do you have another resident AV running ?

No, I usually manually scan everything, the always on scan just slows everything down so I usually disable it. Been like this for years, been virus free, I check regluarlly with manual fulls ystem scans.

Well than that's the cause, in their infinite wisdom MS has come to a conclusion that some resident AV is required and we are not smart enough to defend ourselves, something like insisting on seat belts. I'm using defender and it's not in my way at all.
