My Windows 10 Experience And Some Suggestions
Hi, my name is Robert and I have been a windows user and computer diagnostics and repair tech since the end days of win 3.11, I have seen and worked with every version of windows that has come down the pipe.
On my personal laptop and desktop computers they are both running windows 10 (started out as an insider, then upgrade install, and now clean install's on both) both of those computers have solid state hard drive, 4gb ram in the laptop, and 16gb for the desktop and I gotta tell you I observe that these computers are the fastest windows based computers I have ever had.
I mean insanely fast boot up, quick responses when doing windows task, and found that the browsers that I use every day, were much, much quicker under windows 10 as compared to my perfectly set up windows 7 systems.
I have been cruising this forum for awhile now, several times a day, just to get the pulse of the windows 10 user experiences, issues, ect... And alot of what I see are issues due to computers that were not ready to be upgraded....
out of date drivers, not having run a security sweep before attempting the upgrade, and leaving windows at default settings once the install had finished..........and it is my feeling that alot of those who are having frustrations could be avoided by proper preparation before hand.
To date I have ugraded or installed windows 10 on 30-40 computers and they were all without issue because I made sure the computer's were in shape to take the upgrade/install.
5 computers running win10 in my house, not a moments issue with them
