Anyone noticed the new Messaging app is... uh, a bit broken?

Maybe it's just me, but it seems like this app is extremely buggy.

    1. Conversations do not sync well with regular Skype or Skype on mobile. After having a conversation between a Skype contact on two different devices, Messaging could no longer send any messages to them and gave an error each time I tried.

    2. The title bar displays as black instead of using the correct Windows theme color.

    3. I had a group conversation earlier in the day which worked great... until it didn't. Now each time I click that conversation, Messaging immediately crashes.

    4. Once you start an audio conversation, there is no way to switch to video without ending the conversation.

    5. When you click the "select conversations" button (checkmarks + list icon), there is literally no way to leave that selection mode unless you check something off and then uncheck it.

    6. Seeing which conversation you have selected is awkward. The left-hand list could use a highlight on the current conversation, but right now it's very easy to get mixed up as to which one you are in since the person's profile picture isn't shown next to their messages, only on the left.

It's kind of absurd this got released as is and someone said "ship it!" Making a decent chat program is a solved problem.

    Yes, The app is broken.
If the theme is switched to black the app completely becomes one black box with no contact name or any other displayed.
