But interestingly enough, right after installing sucessfully, and closing it, a "Setup/Uninstall has stopped working" error appears.

You again downloaded this game when you purchased it ? See it on Steam, do you use Steam to run it also ? Do you right click the setup file and select "Run as Administrator" ? Try that.
See it is not an old game, so should run in Windows 10, this is what i thought is why i asked for the game you were having issues with. If can run it off Steam use your key to download and install from Steam, see how that works, who knows if there might be updates for it.
