this would fix the reallocated sector count and airflow temperature issue? and the windows logo at start up?

is this the same one you linked?
Western Digital Blue WD10EZEX 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5-Inch Internal Hard Drive: Amazon.co.uk: Computers Accessories
Yes that is the one, i have same one i use it for backup and movies, music and document files on my system as then i use Solid State drives for Windows 10 and games. Decent drive, not expensive but will work fine, mine is few years old never had issues.
Unless looking to spend more money for SSD or need more space for a HDD.

Will fix issues with sectors and as long as airflow has nothing to do with PC case airflow (ventilation). I noticed how it does go into so many steps at beginning as it loads, either due to the drive or some other hardware or files corruption. If you buy a new drive you should be doing a clean install of Windows 10, may help to resolve those issues along with updated system drivers in place.

If you were activated after you upgraded to Windows 10 you are good, no need for a activation key, never use older OS key for this. When you decide on getting the drive, i can show you steps to do an install, can also look through many tutorials here, just use search at top, use keywords or look through section on tutorials.

I had just changed my main SSD and it activated. Just skip where it will ask for the key. Only major hardware changes will affect this, motherboard, etc...

Your welcome ! Let me know what you decide to do and if need more help. Comes to startup items on system also need to be familiar with functions of those software's to determine needs for startups. As too many running processes will slow system down and startup time. Many others have had issues with upgrade over existing OS, most are solved with clean install of Windows 10.

Check Task manager look at Processor Tab and Performance Tab, anything being used at high percentage ?
Also suggest download this run it and post a screen capture to check Temps on PC http://www.cpuid.com/downloads/hwmon...nitor_1.28.exe
