Power and volume icon greyed out

I can't activate the power and volume icon because there gray. I've tried the regedit method. The icons came back but disapeared at the next booth. Is there a fix to that problem? If yes can someone provide the procedure that works.
    Best regards.

Did you go through steps #11 to #15 including Restart ?

I just used the Disable Power download and after restart, it gone.
I am now going to run the Enable Power Download to bring it back.

If my method does not work for you, have a look at this Windows 10 tutorial :

Did you have the problem resolved ?

If none of the above worked for you, try doing a system restore, if you can remember a date when you had both Power and Volume working. Use that date as your restore point.
