Windows 10: Are Linux Users Allowed Here? :D
"So.. Will you allow me to join your forums and make me feel welcome or burn me with fire?
PS: Nokia should've kept making Lumias.
I've accidentally dabbled in Linux and OSX, okay, even Android and IOS, we all make mistakes.
I have not used Linux - I use WinPE
As in a custom type of PE in my sig below
Jimmy you need to make a thread for it(like Craig for his tools) but also make a tutorial for it
Link is to the thread...
And there are to many components and programs to explain..
Mostly all the common Windows Tools and 3rd party Apps..

Cool I didn't know(click first ask later?) thanks
OSX is a better platform, or used to be than windows. Now they are about much the same.
Linux covers a wide area, most have a graphic interface very similar to windows, so again much the same. The real advantage of linux is that it is completely free if you want to roll out a commercial project rather than pay microsoft licence every time.

You may transfer the software to another computer that belongs to you..."
This remains the same for the Windows 8.1 upgrade EULA.
Unity mode (when it works) is really good
Currently upgrading a W8.1 VM to W10 -- so snapshot is of existing VM before upgrade running on Linux
The Integrated Unity mode makes it very simple for running any Windows program from...
Any Linux users - Opensuse release 13.2 RC1 (14 days before FINAL release) works just fine -- VMWARE workstation and player install on it without any problems plus all the other stuff I've had on 13.1 for the past year or so.
