    Windows 10 keep restarting over app installation.


    As per title, apparently since i upgraded to windows 10, whenever i install app that ask/required for the system to reboot to finish up installation, windows 10 doesn't pop out the "Windows need to restart etc..bla bla, Yes / NO " dialog box. it just auto restart as per the application need i guess.. is there anyway to make window 10 to ask for my permission to restart instead of just restarting on its own.. its annoying.. thanks.

    Wow. That's annoying and I'm sure it's a bug. If it is, then no, you cannot set the permissions.

    Yes it is annoying.. if there really nothing can be done then w10 already bad in my opinion..

So my issue is this, windows 10 will display it's logo, and restart.... Then boot up with preparing automatic repair, and then restart. Then back to no message. Then back to automatic repair. Also of I try and boot to Linux (elementary OS) it will...

Migrated my Toshiba laptop last November from Windows 8 to Windows 10. Now the laptop keeps restarting. Researched the issue and learned that the issue started last summer. The laptop does NOT have a DVD player. Can anyone please help?:(
