    Safe mode not adding network

Through msconfig I added safe boot with networking, however when I restart with F8 networking does not boot up. Took a while to even find how to get that far and then it didn't work right.

    any help appreciated.

Hello Singer, and welcome to Ten Forums. :)

See if you may be able to use another option in the tutorial below to boot to Safe Mode with networking.

Sadly I find the other methods intimidating and am afraid to try. Advanced Options: the screen is very different than yours and the options entirely different. I am a new (August) Windows 10 user and a older user who has some knowledge but no expertize in changing what I call 'the guts' of Windows. It looked so easy through msconfig and wonder why it doesn't 'catch' the networking which is marked.

My problem is with Windows 10 and the "Net". Firefox connects to websites then hangs when trying to move within it. Iexplore hangs and doesn't connect at all. Email sending and recieving fine. and I am connected to my network.

It sounds like you are connected to Internet then.

Do you have any issues with Firefox or IE doing this in normal mode?
