Not that I noticed. The W10 X64 Pro I downloaded months ago is still the same size as the one I'd download today.
That is when downloaded from MS' official site at least.
Cheers,
I have ISO from every build since the beginning and there's no two of same size, some of them are downloaded, some made out of .ESD but all are single language, pro.

My MSDN ISO's are dated, Release Date: 7/29/2015. I just downloaded the Pro ISO via the MCT, size is 3.26 GB. The one I downloaded earlier July 29 is 3.10 GP. Looks like something was added?

All that matters is your Windows 10 build number, whichever way you get and install it.
Updates and service packs will bring it up to the same level regardless the build number when you install it (or did previously), are you saying that's not the case for win10?
For some unkown reason my Hp Pavillion PC would not load windows and saw attempting repairs routine and took me to recovery options but there was no option to use dvd rescue media nor usb so i went into bios and changed to cd/dvd boot option...but...
Hell All!
I'm new here and I'm already looking forward learning a lot from everyone.
I have 4 computers in my little apartment here and they are all running Windows 10 Build 10586. A couple of these machines are going to have some issues...
The media creation tool now downloads 10586.36 by default. This is good news as it shows MS intend to keep the isos up to date. No longer windows 7 style 200+ updates on a clean install.
How to Download a Windows 10 ISO with Media Creation Tool...
Hi,
Just ran into this and thought I would share,
