    Hi there

Not wanting to get into the realm of Politics - but there's NOTHING wrong with some types of Contract Labour or even Part TIME. I deliberately exclude that abomination known as "Zero Hours" contracts -- most places outside the U.K rightfully outlaw the worst excesses of that type of working.
OMGoodness, Jimbo, did I give that impression!?

I am so sorry if I did because I was a contractor for many years before I was arbitrarily retired. I also worked part time to supplement my income after retirement. So, I certainly don't look down my nose at contractors or part timers.

And although I said that "you don't have to give benefits to contract labor" that simply means that, in this case, Microsoft doesn't have to be the one to pay into a retirement fund, insurance fund, etc. However, the company that "contracts the labor force" to Microsoft would be the one responsible for "benefits" to its employees if any are offered.

And no, I don't consider this political; just a clarification that Contract Labor isn't nasty, mean or hateful, but that it's a necessary and clean way for Microsoft to get things done on a timely manner.

    This might not be news:

The feedback is read by machine - metadata collected when users submit feedback helps sort the feedback
Further processing organizes and prioritizes the feedback - then development teams get their report.

Note: your feedback is stored in sub-folders under
    AppData\Local\Packages\
    with a naming convention
    Microsoft.MicrosoftFeedback_8wekyb3d8bbwe\
    LocalState\
    {1ad6cd15-725f-4cba-918d-0b7c02129ead}

It's probably easier to find the files if you search 'This PC' for
    UIF_Feed type:json

    Raw file looks like this:
    Code:
{"BuildString":"9841.0.amd64fre.fbl_release.140912-1613","ContextId":"54","ContextVersion":"0","CountInstances":0,"EnvironmentName":"UIF_Production","FeedbackId":"225b2380-4954-496f-a2c6-aa00614f438f","FeedbackInstanceId":"3cd6d14a-d792-4d25-8d9b-23b43b731048","FeedbackLanguage":"en-US","IsAbuseReport":false,"Text":"Win8.1; HP dv6-6c10us laptop, 6GB RAM: running Win10 in a Hyper-V machine (4GB vRAM, 30GB vhdx). This information is only the first stage in sorting the issues, I'm sure the feedback app collects more useful information. I just don't know the full implementation.

    Hi there

No probs -- sometimes reading stuff on the net conveys a different meaning to what you would actually say if the person was say standing next to you in a Bar / Café. Also there are loads on this Forum who'se nr 1 Language isn't always English (whether of UK / USA / 'OZ etc variety). !!!!

    Cheers

If I recall correctly, Microsoft stated somewhere they can't reply to all the feedback but they do read it.

I believe it's included in a statement when you send feedback, Groze.
