If you have looked them over and didn't notice anything wrong then they're probably good. How about your Processor did you or someone else installed ? Or was is already installed on the motherboard when you got the Mboard ?

I didn't install it myself. I've bought it from a tech shop where I selected what components I wanted and they mounted them. I've only installed the SSD and the CPU cooler.
I've replaced the CPU cooler twice because once the fan stopped working and got it replaced. When the fan on the CPU cooler broke the CPU reached about 80/85 C° before I noticed it stopped working, but I've got this problem before this happened.

The first two years at least. I've got this computer since December 2010. I think the first time it froze up was two years ago, but it was very random and it didn't really bother me much. Even now it wouldn't bother me much if I didn't need to use the computer for university.

I know if this was my system I would try changing things and redoing stuff but it's only because I have extra parts and what not . I would take off the processor and redo the paste and also check that the pins aren't bent . I would try a different power supply, change hard drive and finally do a clean installation of windows . Though I wouldn't recommend you do this, it just me being me. And in the end it just might be your motherboard since your specs are good and it shouldn't have a problem with 7 or 10. You checked the ram and hard drive both came back good . So its basically the Mboard/power S/processor. I would lean more towards the Mboard

I just had this very issue. Check all of your hard drives for failing. My random freezes were my Windows 7 hard drive seizing up, the drive will turn on, but then it stops spinning after a time.

If this happens while a system is running, it will cause the whole system to freeze. Sometimes, the mouse will continue to work, but the system is still frozen.
