Start button has stopped working

Hey guys wondering if some of you can help me out. The start button on windows 10 has stopped working for me. It came right after I installed a new graphics card though in the days before I had noticed strange stuff like when I searched for an app and clicked on its icon within the start menu nothing would happen. File explorer, settings etc stills works but are very slow.

Found a number of people posting about this issue and some possible solutions online but so far all the solutions I have found have not helped.

Welcome to ten forums. You might try running the SFC command. This is from the tutorial section. SFC Command - Run in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Forums .

Try this workaround for problems where apps are not starting or are stuck:

1. Open an Elevated Powershell prompt by pressing the Windows Key, typing Powershell, then pressing Ctrl+Shift+Enter
2. Paste the following command into Powershell and execute it:
   Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
