    O.k. i did not read the replies, but the tutorial i never knew myself how a clean install could, but whole tutorial was new to me seeing it now.

    Yes its fairy new one, think Shawn made it just a few weeks ago. Lots of people seem to really like this method a lot.
    Wish Shawn would have made this one BEFORE I did my clean install....darn..

    A lot to read in replies to find where it said would save 3rd party apps, but will save this one in case i need it as i am already on a clean install from end of July so far have not had any issues with Windows 10 Pro. Let's see if we can finish helping this person.

    Just leave a post in their and ask Shawn.....might be quicker. I could be wrong, I just thought it did.

    I asked him because i was curious and does not seem possible, he is on my friend list.

    Ok kool, I did mind the other method, and spent around 3 days reinstalling all my registered apps. Not fun!! I have a lot of programs I paid for, and finding all their keys and reg #'s plus on 1 or 2 I had to either call them on phone or send emails to get them re-registered. groan....

    Been there done that many times in past with other OS's clean install so i know the fun involved. To me clean install for this person be there last alternative.

    Confirmed that this method of clean install will not save 3rd party apps as most clean installs will not.
    Clean Install Windows 10 Directly without having to Upgrade First

Start Button (is it still called that?) & Windows Key Not Working. I've seen other posts about this (example), but there doesn't seem to be any reason given for the problem. I've got this issue on a clean Windows 10 install.

Hi Guys, I recently made a clean install of Windows 10. However when I reboot I noticed that the Wi-Fi tray icon wasn't showing any menu. I click it and nothing happened. No list was shown, the only way to connect was to go to This PC...
Start Menu stops working? in General Support
Been happening alot lately I can't open my start menu it just stops working. Only a restart or log off works. Any ideas?
