Quick question about overall Windows 10's perception
I do a lot of independent IT work and have done so for many years. From that time, I've done so many installs and deployments of Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 and now 10. But the thing I'm wondering, how is everyone's general perception towards 10?
I only ask this because in the first time in Windows history, this is a FREE upgrade for the qualified PCs running 7 or 8.1 for less than a year and yet, I've seen almost more hesitation towards 10 than I have with Windows 8 or 8.1. I don't know if it's the FUD around the privacy concerns or ease of use or what?
On a side note, someone recently told me that they think 10 is hard to use. This was coming from someone who used Windows 8 and currently on 8.1, by far the most critiqued version for poor ease of use. I was quite shocked.
Also, on a different note, the number of people I've come across that know about Cortana and even want to use Cortana especially on their iphones or androids has been pleasantly surprising. Even some that are all apple devices including mac users would like to have Cortana over Siri even though they don't use Siri.
Windows 10 has so far been a pretty interesting release thus far. It's free, it's awesome, it's continually being tweaked and improved, but still controversial and many people are resisting the upgrade incredibly hardcore. And on the Windows Phone side, 10 has been received both positively and negatively for different reasons. It's crazy.
